February's Colour of the Month - ALL COLOURS
Love In ALL Colours
As a special treat for this month, we offer suggestions on how each colour in the rainbow may be applied for colour therapy healing in all of our relationships!
Whether you want to strengthen a friendship or spice up your love life, colour can help you this February!
Let's start with the #1 colour people think of for Valentine's Day - RED. Red is a colour filled with passion! Missing passion in your love life? Add a red bath balm and your lover to bath water under candlelight and experience how Red will stimulate your love making! Include sensual aromatherapy oils such as Ylang Ylang, Sandlewood and Patchouli to your bath water or massage oil. Taste aphrodisiac foods together such as chocolate covered strawberries. Read a book together on tantra love making. Use your imagination....Red is for sexual energy and passion.
Needing to become more adventurous in your life? ORANGE stimulates the emotions and helps us to remove inhibitions. Also the energy known to increase our sexuality and sensuality; awakening our (feeling) senses. Orange will help you to play with your partner and with your friendships to increase connection.
YELLOW is the power which heightens awareness and curiosity. Going on your first date this Valentine's Day? Try providing a gift with the colour yellow such as yellow roses or a Citrine stone. It will help you dive into knowing more about a person and the gifts you share together.
GREEN will connect you to your heart centre providing unconditional love, compassion and generosity. It is the colour to support giving and receiving love. Sometimes we need to give love to ourselves and show our body how much we honour and care. Try walking in a forest, eating healthy green foods and sipping on peppermint tea to increase the relationship with your own body.
BLUE inspires affection, trust and loyalty. Show your partner you will be forever faithful. Wear blue on your night out together. Wrap yourselves up in a blue blanket to snuggle together watching your favourite romantic comedy.
INDIGO is the colour to share with your soulmate for an intense soul to soul connection. Dancing together connects the physical body and the soul. Put on some soul music and dancing - even if only in your living room!
VIOLET indicates spiritual love, for those divinely inspired. Also the colour to activate universal creativity. Use Violet to connect to your Divine presence. If single, write all the attributes you'd like to have in a partner or friendship in a purple pen and/or in a violet journal.
TURQUOISE allows you to express yourself freely. This colour combines the emotions from the green heart chakra and the blue throat chakra stimulating honest expression. Need to express how you truly feel with love? Wear turquoise around the neck for energetic support.
PINK is for a special friend or lover. Pink is the universal colour of self love and the colour of self-respect and self-esteem. When you truly want to express love and gratitude for your relationship, present the colour Pink and say Thank You.
WHITE has always been a colour representing innocence and purity. If your relationship needs to have a clean slate, try using a white tablecloth for dinner with white flowers as a centerpiece. This will give the energy of starting over with new fresh energy.
BLACK shows no emotion. It leaves mystery and demands respect. If you are not yet ready to truly reveal yourself to a new partner, wear black. It will also protect you against negative energy. Just remember, too much black lacks life. Always wear a little bit of colour - even if it's your underwear! haha
